Welcome!
For over 60 years the South Carolina Entomological Society (SCES) has supported entomological sciences in South Carolina. The SCES is home to many individuals, from professional entomologists to amateur insect collectors. The SCES publishes the Journal of Agricultural and Urban Entomology and hosts an Annual Meeting that provides a venue for all members to share scientific information and their entomological experiences. Many society members, especially students, have benefited financially from SCES Awards presented each year.
Take a moment, review our site to learn more details about our dynamic society. If you are not a SCES member, please consider joining and think about attending our annual meeting. If you have any questions about the SCES, please feel free to contact any of the officers listed on the Homepage. If you are a South Carolina teacher or student and want help or advice with entomological education check out our Entomological Mentorship page.
